And I’ve Never Been to Boston in the Fall

There’s considerable lore about New England and the beauty of the Fall leaves. We’ve never had the opportunity to visit this part of the country during the Fall before, but, thanks to this year’s NAEC Fall Convention and Exposition, we are going to check this experience off of our Bucket List while also connecting with our customers and industry colleagues.

What is NAEC?

The National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) can trace its beginnings to the 1940s when a private elevator company and some of their industry friends got together for fish fries. By 1950, more companies were interested in participating, a charter was crafted and the professional association was formed. Amid changes in leadership and structure, NAEC continued to grow steadily for 30 years. Lots of changes came about in the 90s, when membership exploded, their permanent headquarters was established (in Conyers, GA), and they established a formidable presence globally. It was during this time of substantial growth that Technical Specialties Company, Inc. joined the NAEC organization.
